ThermAlloy® has an inherent porosity throughout the depth of the coating resulting in improved oil retention and wear rates.

Compatability of ThermAlloy®

ThermAlloy® sprayed power cylinders can be placed in service along with cast iron and/or chrome plated cylinders in the same unit.
Ring compatability has been achieved wtih ThermAlloy® as well as with piston configurations and oils.
ThermAlloy® coating in the cylinder bore is functionally compatible with most quality manufactured chrome, universal, multi-purpose, and iron rings.
